BC Horse Council is hitting the road in 2017 and coming to a community near you! We are bringing a one day educational mini-summit to communities around the province. On Oct 1 we will be visiting Courtenay bringing with us expert speakers on Nutrition for horses on Vancouver Island, Pasture and Manure management and “what your Vet wants you to know” Join us for a great day of equine education at the Westerly Hotel in Courtenay. Clinic My Horse Does Everything Well Except……Solve your Problems Naturally and Build Safe Partnerships- Level 1 – 2 day clinic with Devanee Cardinal My horse does everything well except….. go through water, stand to saddle up, stand and wait for me to get on, trailer load with confidence, stay calm when motorbikes or ATV’s pass on the trail. You fill in the blank for your horse. This clinic will focus on how to solve problems naturally and build safe partnerships. Learn to play the 7 games and explore how to play the games at the level your horse needs you to play them in order to strengthen your partnership and solve problems you may be having with your horse. Clinic Emotional Fitness for You and Your Horse, Rider Makeover- Level 2/3 – 3 day clinic with Devanee Cardinal The focus of this clinic will be emotional fitness for you and your horse. Develop your Freestyle riding (riding without contact), have your horse move from your energy and intent rather than from your legs and reins. October 13-16
Parelli Progress Days- Level 3/ 4- 4 day clinic with Devanee Cardinal This clinic will focus on Finesse without Stress, Liberty Connection. Riding with contact (Finesse) and precision riding using the Finesse Sequence and Precision Box concepts developed by Linda Parelli. Further advance your Liberty, play the Property Game! Mid-Island CADORA's a Haunted Dressage Fall Fest Schooling Show at Beban Park in Nanaimo. Dressage, western, para and eventing dressage classes offered as well as hack classes and the always entertaining Costume Class!
